How do I donate?

To make a donation for the auction, contact the auction committee at auction@secondchancenc.org.

 

How do I get my item to the auction?

You can drop it by our shelter at 6003 Chapel Hill Road, Raleigh, NC. We are located in the Tanger Center, 1 mile west of the state fairgrounds - brick office complex. Or, mail it to us, or contact us at auction@secondchancenc.org, we would be happy to pick any items up.

 

How will my donation be acknowledged?

Your name and/or website will be posted on the auction website and in our auction brochure. Over 250 animal lovers attend our auction; it provides excellent advertisement for your business.

 

And,if your donation is over $250.00 in value, you and a guest will be invited to attend the event, so you will be able to meet prospective customers and even possibly find a few bargains of your own. 
 

How will my donation be used?

It will be used in our live, silent, or chance auction in which 100% of the proceeds will go to the animals in our care. Or, it will be included in the gift bags that will go to each auction attendee.

 

How can I become an auction sponsor?

 

Choose an sponsorship level that fits your needs:

 

Platinum Level

Donation: $1000

·    Full page ad in the Auction Program

·    Reserved table for 8 at the auction (food/wine/beer included)

·    Listed as prominent sponsor on the front page of Second Chance website (logo/link)

·    Listed as prominent sponsor on the Auction Website (logo/link)

 

Gold Level

Donation: $750

·    Half page ad in the Auction Program

·    Reserved table for 6 at the auction (food/beer/wine included)

·    Listed as prominent sponsor on the Auction Website (logo/link)

 

Silver Level

Donation: $500

·    Quarter page ad in the Auction Program

·    4 reserved tickets to the auction (food/wine/beer included)

·    Listed as prominent sponsor on the Auction Website (logo/link)

I don’t have a gift certificate, what can I do?

We are happy to create a gift certificate for you, email us at auction@secondchancenc.org

 

What happens at the Auction for the Animals?

We will have an exciting live auction, a thrilling silent auction, and a fun chance auction.  We will pick the winners of our raffle. And, have hot and cold hot hors d'oeuvres, a delicious dessert buffet, music and lots of fun!

How do I know if you are a ‘real’ non-profit?

As an established charity, we must register with the Internal Revenue Service. You can validate our eligibility to receive tax-deductible charitable donations on the IRS website (we are listed as 2nd Chance Pet Adoptions Inc. in Cary, NC (our mailing address)).
